  • Attendance Log Metadata: Timestamp records of your attendance check-ins and check-outs, status indicators, and related office division details.
  • Verification Media: Captured selfies/images uploaded during check-in/out to perform biometric visual confirmation.

Hardware Permissions

To enable core check-in features, the application requests the following device permissions:

Location Access (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION)
Required to verify your coordinates during attendance check-in/out. This ensures attendance is logged within authorized geological perimeters and work zones. Location tracking is only active during the check-in and check-out actions.
Camera Access (CAMERA)
Required to snap a verification selfie during check-ins and check-outs. This photo acts as visual proof of presence, preventing attendance fraud and proxy check-ins.
Media Library Access
Required in case users need to upload document attachments (e.g., medical certificates for leave requests or receipts for expense reimbursement).

How We Use Data

We process your data strictly for legitimate operational purposes, including:

  • Authenticating user sessions and verifying employee identity.
  • Ensuring compliance by validating that employees are physically on-site during check-in using GPS location constraints.
  • Processing attendance records to generate payroll statistics for the company.
  • Notifying users regarding their leave approvals, attendance updates, or organizational announcements via notifications.

Data Sharing & Security

Your information is stored securely and access is strictly controlled:

  • No External Sharing: We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information, photos, or location data with third-party advertisers or external services.
  • Employer Visibility: All location telemetry, photos, and attendance logs are shared directly and exclusively with your employer's HR administrators via the secure hrmsApp backend dashboard.
  • Security Protocols: We employ robust technical safeguards including encrypted transmission protocols (HTTPS) and secure databases to protect your sensitive operational records.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data and attendance records only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as requested by your employer (the data controller). If your employment status ends or your employer requests deletion of data, records will be permanently expunged or anonymized in compliance with company data retention guidelines.
